Red Dead Redemption 2 leak gives a must-see gameplay preview

Red Dead Redemption 2 is easily the years most highly anticipated game, and with the game still 4 days away from global release it comes as no surprise that copies would leak into the wild. Similar two disc data and play discs have been issued in this way before, and given the colossal size of Red Dead Redemption 2 (it's over 100GB), this makes sense.

That's because the online retailer, MediaMarkt, the Swedish website that listed the PC version, has now commented on the original posting. Maybe Take-Two has yet to register Red Dead Redemption 2 to an EAN, or perhaps the retailer is using a randomly generated number that isn't assigned to any other products. There are no indications that there will be a PC version of this game.

"I checked this with the games department at our headquarters and got told that it's something of a placeholder and that they count on it being announced sometime in the future (just as with GTA V for example)".

Rockstar Games has gone for a delayed PC release multiple times in the past.

Set in 1899, twelve years before the original's setting, Red Dead Redemption 2 centres on Arthur Morgan, an outlaw and member of the Van der Linde gang in the American Old West.

In other RDR2 related news, Rockstar has now confirmed the full size of their new game.

Either way, they're some of the better Xbox One X deals that have been kicking around.

Players of RDR2 will need to find 107GB on Xbox One and 99GB of room on PS4.
