Man Utd manager Mourinho to learn Woodward decision today

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has criticised compatriot Paul Pogba for putting pressure on manager Jose Mourinho after claiming that his side should attack more following their 1-1 draw with Wolves.

"But we like challenges too, we have goals".

Barcelona were keeping close tabs on Pogba's situation for much of the summer but the Frenchman stayed on at Old Trafford and had a promising start to the season, scoring in United's two opening games.

"I think he (Pogba) has done it on objective, and I don't think that is right", Saha, 40, said."It's the wrong communication, it puts pressure on the manager. with those talks you should do it in the dressing room with your manager". For example, I've never won the Premier League, that's an objective.

Pogba told L'Equipe: 'I have never played for France to be captain.

Pogba was one of six players in Didier Deschamps' squad to be nominated for the Ballon d'Or on Monday, and he believes the prize should go to one of his France teammates. As a leader you can talk on the pitch, but I have seen leaders who do not necessarily speak.

The notion that United are heading in a tangible forward direction under Mourinho - or even just slightly improved since, say, the Europa League final in May 2017 - is pure nonsense, I'm afraid.

"They help me a lot to adapt and in everything, to learn English".

"I could say what I felt, give messages and pass them on from the older players to the younger ones. But I hope with all my heart that it's one of the four, because there is [also] NG [N'Golo Kante]".

The victor, which will be voted for by a global panel of 176 football journalists, will be announced on December 3.
