Buckingham Palace announced overnight the young royals will serve as page boy and bridesmaid for Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank.

Princess Eugenie is getting married on October 12 and the United Kingdom-based group Republic has gathered over 40,000 signatures in support of a petition urging the House of Commons and government stop the use of public funds for the royal event.

The ex- Take That star and the actress have been friends with the royal for several years and Theodora, 6, is set to have a starring role at the ceremony.

The pair has chosen a London cake designer, Sophie Cabot, to create the work of art for their big day.

Savannah and Isla Philips are also bridesmaids.

Mia is the daughter of Mrs Zara Tindall and Mr Mike Tindall.

She has also asked Robbie and Ayda Williams' daughter Theodora, six, to be a bridesmaid.

"The family understood, particularly Eugenie, and were fine about it owing to her previous commitment".

Prince George, 5, will join one other page boy for the ceremony - Mr. Louis de Givenchy, the 6-year-old son of Zoe De Givenchy and Olivier De Givenchy.

"I know it seems odd that Camilla's missing Eugenie's wedding but it doesn't indicate any malice or ill-feeling".

Following in the footsteps of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Eugenie and Jack have invited 1,200 people from across the United Kingdom to the grounds of Windsor Castle to share the experience of their special day.
