Describing the #MeToo movement in India as the beginning of a "wrong practice", BJP MP Udit Raj on Tuesday supported actor Nana Patekar and questioned actress Tanushree Dutta for speaking up after a decade.

Whle giving confirmation about the same, Tanushree Dutta legal representative, Nitin Satpute, on Monday stated, "The complaint has been filed with the Maharashtra State Commission for Women". The MSCW issued notices to Nana Patekar, Rakesh Sarang, Ganesh Acharya among others.

The actor has approached the cyber cell at the Bandra Kurla Complex and filed a complaint against the morphed video. The Aashiq Banaya Apne actress had accused the veteran actor of sexually assaulting her on the sets of Horn Ok Please in 2008.

Ms Rahatkar said a number of complaints of harassment against women in production houses and film industry have been appearing, and the commission has asked them to set up internal bodies as prescribed by law to deal with such allegations. However, on the fourth day of the shoot, Nana Patekar's behavior was ill-fated. She further added that there should be fair chance given to both men and women to keep their respective sides. The Natsamrat star today addressed the media and said that whatever he said 10 years back, will say the same thing and that is the truth.
