Dez trolls Cowboys on Twitter during, after loss

The free-agent wide receiver called out his former team with a series of critical tweets aimed at the Dallas Cowboys after they dropped their season opener. He has received interest from Cleveland and Baltimore, but his thoughts were with the Cowboys during - and after - their 16-8 season-opening loss at Carolina.

And it's probably not a good sign for the offense that Bryant, who hasn't been with the team in five months, was predicting routes based on the pre-snap hand signals.

The wideout added the Washington Redskins would be "cool as well".

Fans got in on the action, too.

Dez Bryant sure sounds like he wants to play for the New England Patriots. The Carolina new-look offense didn't run up big numbers but it didn't need to on a day that the Carolina Front 7 on defense, led by linebacker Luke Kuechly, dominated play. SB Nation has a full guide to the Bryant-Cowboys beef.

It's hard to break things down as simply as that, but it certainly wouldn't have hurt this team.

Prescott was 19 of 29 for 170 passing yards but directed only one scoring drive, while Ezekiel Elliott was held to 69 yards rushing and a touchdown.
