Henderson, who is now on with the England squad for their games against Spain and Switzerland, has made 283 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 24 goals.

He claims the Reds are "very keen" on the France worldwide, and Klopp in particular, having attempted to sign him while still manager at Borussia Dortmund.

ESPN says the Reds have enquired about the availability of Rabiot.

A multiple Ligue 1 victor with PSG, Rabiot also has a handful of French global caps to his name. The midfielder came through the PSG academy setup and broke into the first-team in the 2012-13 campaign.

Rabiot has been linked to Tottenham ever since he was a teenager and he has grown as a player considerably since, forcing his way into the France worldwide team. The 23-year-old has 15 trophies during his time with PSG - four of them being league titles.

A host of clubs, including Arsenal Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Tottenham have been linked with moves for Rabiot but it looks like Liverpool are trying to beat them all to his signature by making an early move. Barcelona seemed to be plotting a move to land him in the recently concluded transfer window.

"With the new UEFA rules, January will be a real market", he explained.

It is understood that PSG do not necessarily want to lose Rabiot, yet, he has thus far refused their attempts at tying him to a new contract. Liverpool signed Naby Keita and Fabinho to strengthen the midfield.

Liverpool have reportedly made contact with the mother and agent of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot with the view to signing the Frenchman on a free transfer.
