Were square bezels and a millimeter less screen on one edge of the device really such a awful thing to live with? The gadgets have mostly ridden on the quality of their camera, Google's exclusive branding, and stock Android. Presumably the screen has improved as well, which was one of the clear shortcomings of the Pixel 2 XL, but that's something everyone can appreciate and really isn't up for debate.

The phone does have a 12.2MP rear camera with a f/1.8 aperture, which we can tell thanks to the EXIF data. The phone has now gotten exposed yet again in a massive series of leaks, revealing its design, specs, camera samples, retail box, and wireless charging skills. "Google Lens suggestions" could offer up timely pointers about what you're looking at, while the more practical "Store videos efficiently" offers to use the HEVC format for 50% smaller files. Khoroshev has saved all captured images on Google Drive - made available for those who intend to peruse meta data for further information. This time around, Pixel 3 XL buyers will get a wired headphone which also has a Google Assistant button along with a wall charger, USB Type-C cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter and a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter in the box. Additionally, the device itself is rumored to support a new generation of VR that will launch next year. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

According to sources claiming to be familiar with Google's plans, the pair of cameras in the display notch of the Pixel 3 XL work together to create what the company is referring to as "Super Selfies".
