The new phone is the Galaxy Note 9 and it is arguably the greatest and definitely the latest from Samsung.

Bixby has become smarter.

Just because you spent a packet on a new flagship device doesn't mean it will be perfect.Luckily, you can use software and some hidden tweaks to bring back something that you miss or add a feature you can't live without.

The display is mostly the same as last year's Galaxy Note8, something that I'm really not a fan of.

Let's be clear though; the display is probably the prettiest smartphone screen that exists.

"The pricing will play a bigger role in deciding whether Samsung wants to fight the Chinese players or continue its focus on the premium customers in India", Meena emphasised.

One of the biggest aspects of the Note9 release is the new S Pen. With the S9+ coming in at 6.2 inches and the Note9 coming in at 6.4 inches, that former differentiator is gone.

The Galaxy Note 9 isn't cheap, but it's certainly worth investigating if you're looking for a powerful smartphone you can hold onto for several years.

Samsung Electronics has been cautious in the past about expanding its battery capacity after production of the ill-fated Galaxy Note 7 was suspended after its 3,500mAh battery caught fire.

According to Samsung, the new S-Pen acts as a wireless remote.

The Note 9 has almost every feature you could want - a giant 6.4-inch screen, dual cameras, wireless charging, water resistance and even the headphone jack is still there. It can be used to take a photo, Play/Pause YouTube videos, go through slides in PowerPoint.

Battery life to keep up with you.

A matching colour stylus is so five minutes ago. Regular pen usage will still work.

Everything you have seen here today is a step forward in a connected world. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Qualcomm's next flagship chipset has a Neural Processing Unit of its own. Also, the handset has features such as flaw detection that can detect the blinking of eye, lens smudge, and backlight to improve images. Rather than only recording the slow motion video for 0.2 seconds, it's now 0.4 seconds. The offer can be availed on the 128GB storage model of Galaxy Note 9. Last year's Galaxy Note8 (and the S8) placed it to the right side of the camera, causing users to accidentally smudge the camera with their fingers.

Users can customize Galaxy Watch even more with a selection of watch faces and straps including options from Braloba, a manufacturer of high quality watch straps. Under the hood, the India variant of the handset packs the Exynos 9810 SoC, coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options.

So it's not only something I can use for personal, say to track my exercise, or some enhanced capabilities with sleep tracking.

Customers who are pre-booking the Galaxy Note 9 will also get a chance to buy Samsung's Gear Sports smartwatch for a discounted price of Rs 4,999 instead of the original price of Rs 22,990.

"Gamers as a community are the most demanding on their technology", he said. The company will have more to share about the Galaxy Home going forward. The new phone boasts a 4000mAh battery; 21 per cent larger than its predecessor, and 512GB internal memory expandable to 1TB.
