Google Pixel 3 XL Unboxed: Here’s the Key Specs

This morning it would appear that one Russian citizen received a Google Pixel 3 XL in the mail. Images of the device were shared by a Ukrainian tech blogger on Telegram with the smartphone being described as a "pre-release version". Both sets of images show a white handset with a significant iPhone X-style notch on the front display. These specs were further backed up by a separate leak on Tuesday from MySmartPrice, which points to a benchmark listing for the Pixel 3 XL from Chinese database Master Lu. You will still find the main camera and LED flash on the top left-hand side with a fingerprint sensor on the back. We can also see a USB-C to 3.5mm dongle (there's no built-in headphone jack), a USB-C to USB-A adapter for transferring information from another device, and the usual USB-C charging cable. There is a mint green power button on this Pixel 3 XL as well, which differs from the orange button on the two-tone Pixel 2 XL.

Google's launch of the Pixel 3 phones is leaking worse than a Samsung launch at this stage, with a retail box containing a "Clearly White" coloured handset leaking overnight. You're just asking for the phone to get remotely wiped. A resolution of 1440×2960 with a pixel density of 494 is also stated, and there's also confirmation that the device will have just 4GB of RAM. Previous leaks indicate that one of the Pixel 3 series phones might feature a notch over the display. Surprisingly, Google is including a pair of USB Type-C headphones with a Pixel Buds-like design.

According to screenshots, this is the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it runs an Adreno 630 GPU in a Qualcomm Snapdragon system-on-chip.
