Samsung Galaxy Note 9 leak reveals specs and design

We have seen numerous leaks of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note 9, though the bulk have been from outside sources, not from with the South Korean handset maker itself. Leaked Note 9 images do show a slightly different look around the back, with its dual-lens camera set up in a horizontal rather than a vertical configuration.

"Meet the new super powerful Note", the video begins as it zooms in on the device's rear camera array and fingerprint sensor.

Samsung has scheduled its press conference on August 30, during the annual IFA trade show, which is scheduled to take place from August 31 to September 5 in Berlin. In the bottom face is a slot under a stylus, a 3.5 mm headphone Jack and USB Type-C.

As reported in the past few months, the Note 9 will feature a new S Pen, but what it is able to do remains unclear. Finally, to wrap things up, the handset's price is likely to be around $1,000, but Samsung said in its recent earnings report that the new Note will offer "exceptional performance for a reasonable price". It's also rumoured to have the same dual aperture technology, so you can adjust the amount of light getting into the lens.

In addition to the fresh render leaked by Blass, the first hands-on images of the Galaxy Note 9 have been on SlashLeaks.

Industry watchers expect the new Galaxy Note 9 to come with 4,000mAh battery and 512 GB data storage capacity, along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and Exynos 9810 chipsets.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is expected to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Note 8, with a premium, waterproof, glass build.

Well, we already had enough details of the phone, but this official promo video confirmed most of the features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. We'll have to wait further for that. The Galaxy Note 9 will run Android 8.1 Oreo with the latest Samsung Experience UX on top. It's been another excellent year for Samsung phones, and we're looking forward to what the company comes up with for 2019.
