And it has now been claimed that Demi has agreed to check in to a live-in rehab facility when she is discharged from hospital.

Demi previously went to Timberline Knolls rehab centre in IL for issues including drug and alcohol abuse, self-harm and bulimia in late 2010 to early 2011, but revealed in her 2017 documentary Simply Complicated that it wasn't immediately successful and she still struggled with alcoholism and a cocaine addiction in the year afterwards.

News that Demi Lovato, 25, agreed to go to rehab after she's released from the hospital has obviously thrilled family, friends, and fans alike.

It's unclear what drug or drugs she was using that night, as Lovato was reportedly uncooperative with authorities after she was revived at the scene.

Lovato has been in hospital for about a week.

According to a People source on Friday, the decision to get help was "her choice", and it was not "forced". The goal has been to get her physically healthy and now that Demi is stable they're focusing on getting her clean again...

She's taken the rehab route before.

She said things got really hard again.

"Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support", rep Nicole Perna said in a statement. "I would throw up and it would just be blood and it was something that I realised if I don't stop this", she said, "I am going to die".
