Harry and Meghan visit Dublin in first trip as married couple

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, meet Ireland's President, Michael Higgins and his wife Sabina Coyne in Dublin, Ireland.

Well-connected Meghan has a close bond with the French designer and, as well as choosing his glamorous designs for red carpet appearances, Meghan has given him a string of social media shout-outs.

Dressed in a suitably green Givenchy dress, Meghan and Prince Harry were briefly greeted before taking off for their first engagement.

And while we wouldn't expect anything less from the new royal, who's quickly become a fashion icon, we can't help but marvel at the different styles she's managed to serve in such a short time. Her emerald green Givenchy dress hugged her awesome figure perfectly, and she completed the look with her hair pulled back into a sleek bun.

Fans lining the streets told the Duchess she was coping well walking in the hard Dublin terrain with the royal responding, "I'm trying!"

Noone was quick to backtrack on her tweet as many pointed out members of the royal family are required to refrain from making political statements.

The royal couple arrived in the capital on Tuesday for their two-day visit to the country. (Picture: PA) "Tenacity, skill and gallantry have been your hallmarks, ' she said". As for beauty, Markle opted for a low-key makeup look and her signature low bun - a nice choice to show off her dress's sleek neckline. "All three work together beautifully and it's a combination that looks fantastic, so I think it's safe to say this won't be the last time we see this look on Meghan".

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex landed in Dublin just hours after attending celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force at Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace.
