On July 4th, the British comedian and actor Sacha Baron Cohen revived his long-dormant presence on Twitter to post an odd video edit of President Donald Trump ridiculing him.

Cheney, who was openly in favor of the USA military using torture methods including waterboarding against captured terrorist suspects during his tenure, clearly still hasn't changed his views on the act which is a human rights abuse and punishable by global law. It was disgraceful. He ought to be fired immediately. Other than Trump, Baron Cohen could also be targeting other celebrities. Unclear what's creepier - that Sacha thought of this and actually asked Cheney, or that the former VP of the United States of America had no qualms signing a "waterboard kit".

"Imagine if Sacha Baron Cohen had been undercover secretly filming a new show for a year ..." it begins.

It also follows news from earlier this year, in which it was said that Baron Cohen was trying to get in a room with O.J. Simpson. The pay cabler announced Monday that the comic's new television series "Who Is America?" will premiere at midnight Eastern time July 15.

Showtime, meanwhile, have been keeping schtum on the details. "You've been warned", the posters read, while giving us a glimpse at Baron Cohen's new character, peeking out surreptitiously from behind American flags and wearing various types of eyewear. The creators won't let us show you a scene, the lawyers won't let us tell you the name of the star, and we can't even reveal the show's title or we'd be breaking our nondisclosure agreement. One teaser even called it "perhaps the most risky TV show in history". "F*** if I know".
