The OPPO Find X isn't set to debut for at least several more hours, and yet nearly all the details about the Chinese OEM's latest flagship smartphone have been laid out courtesy of a post from The Verge. This means that Oppo Find X comes with a pop-up module for both the front and the rear camera. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's flagship chipset - Snapdragon 845 along with 8GB of RAM. The Indian-specific launch has been scheduled for July 12.

It said that the 3D structured light module in Find X can project 15,000 dots, building a precise and complete 3D module of a user's face, and then compares with the registered face of the owner to unlock. The front sports an all-screen display while the rear appears curved. Those cameras consist of 16MP + 20MP rear cameras and the 25MP front camera, all of which are hidden from view until needed. However, until there's a better solution for getting rid of the selfie camera from the front, phone makers will probably continue building phones with similar setups. The phone packs a 3,730mAh battery and supports quick charging as well. Oppo's new flagship smartphone will be made available from August this year, and the company has revealed its price details as well.

Oppo has teamed up with the famous auto maker for this special version of the Find X in other ways.

Speaking of that 3D facial scanner, Oppo did copy Apple when it comes to fingerprint sensors.

The company has also tied up with Lamborghini to launch a special edition smartphone at 1699 euros for the 512 GB variant with Super Vooc charging technology.

In addition to the front camera, the section also includes a 3D facial recognition system to enable to a much more secure face unlock feature. Along with this, the company has also included AR stickers in the camera. The all-new Find X has been in the rumors mills from last few months.

It is the same with the standard Find X, but decked out in Lamborghini styling.

While design is the main focal point of this device, the cameras are also an area of the phone that Oppo seems to have taken a keen interest in.

As we've already mentioned, there cameras on the Oppo Find X are no where to be seen when you first pick it up.

It's called the OPPO Lamborghini Find X Special Edition and comes with some design tweaks created to make it stand out, like a carbon fiber paint job. Features like AI portraits and AI Scene Recognition technology are integrated. We do know it's in line for a global release with Oppo entering four European countries (Spain, France, Italy and the Netherlands) from June 19 with plans to expand to more in the future.
