E3 2018: Spider-Man PS4 Trailer Hints at Sinister Six

Insomniac Games' Spider-Man releases on the PlayStation 4 on September 7.

Check out all the trailers below, and sound off in the comments about which game you're most excited to play.

PlayStation at E3 2018 should, like Sony's past showings, focus on the games and games alone. This older, college-aged Spider-Man knows his powers, jumping off pillars for tougher kicks and webbing baddies to any surface webbable. "Tom Holland was one of the (admittedly many) scene-stealers in Avengers" Infinity War, and gave us the "I don't feel so good, Mr Stark..." meme.

We can't wait to get our hands on this game.

- Ubisoft has a new pirate game, called "Skull & Bones". It's clear to see that Ghost of Tsushima is really nailing a distinct and cinematic aesthetic, instantly evoking romanticised imagery from classic samurai movies. Now, with the game a few months away from release, Sony has released the biggest and most action-packed trailer yet. As the five villains ganged up on poor Spidey and beat him to a pulp, the trailer ended on a teaser of the villain they're all working for. They were soon joined by familiar faces from Spider-Man's rogues gallery, including Rhino, Scorpion, Vulture, and Mister Negative.

Starring the world's most iconic Super Hero, Spider-Man features the acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game.

The sixth member could be anyone, but frequent Sinister Six members not featured in the trailer include Doctor Octopus, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio and Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin.
