Look at what EA has done to Command & Conquer

During Electronic Arts' EA Play press conference for E3 2018, EA confirmed that a new Command & Conquer game would be coming to mobile devices titled Command & Conquer: Rivals. EA's Command & Conquer: Rivals wants to be the successor of the beloved RTS (real-time strategy) franchise but is, in fact, a competitive real-time strategy game.

Microtransactions will be present, but EA says anything that's able to be bought will also be available for free simply by playing the game. However, the series has been in a state of hibernation with the last official title in the franchise, Tiberium Alliances, released as a free online browser game back in 2012.

The game features well-known units and characters from the Command & Conquer universe. Android users can download and play a pre-alpha build of the game, which is called "Command and Conquer: Rivals", today. We can't wait to hear what they think and will use our players' feedback to make Rivals better. Master the battlefield with continuous control of your forces, crush your rivals, and lead your army to victory. The Google Play Pre-Alpha test allows us to put the game in the hands of our players earlier. This game could be EA's way to take on Supercell's successful game Clash Royale, and we'll find out eventually if it's successful.

Are you looking forward to the resurrection of Command & Conquer?
