Breaking from the usual announcement wave at E3 2018, the Hitman 2 release date was confirmed for November 13, 2018. Not only will new locations be introduced, but players will also be able to snipe together in a brand new Sniper Assassin co-op mode which you can start playing immediately. Additional locations and environments include "sun-drenched streets" and a "dark, unsafe rainforest".

Players will embark on a globe-trotting adventure as Agent 47 hunts down the Shadow Client. However when Agent 47 "learns his target's true identity and the truth about his past, it changes everything" the description hints.

Hitman 2 will also feature the new Sniper Assassin mode, a standalone, co-op event that will allow for online co-operation between two players.

For those looking to pre-order, Wario 64 has found a GameStop page for the Collector's Edition (which is exclusive to GameStop), that sees it retailing at $149.99. During the reveal stream, its developers hinted that interacting with environments and objects would play a bigger role and "everything in the environment can be deadly". Sniper Assassin is available to play now as an early access bonus for consumers who preorder the Standard, Gold, or Collector's Edition. Hitman 2 also gives you more opportunities to use your sniper rifle than before. This past Monday, a logo of the game was spotted on WB Games' official website, pointing to an announcement in the coming days.
