Senior Michael Sharp and sophomore Kaleb Johnson, who were the Spartans' top finishers on five occasions each this season, again led MSU by tying for 24th place at 7-over-par 220. The Jayhawks were in third place, one stroke off the pace, entering the final round.

The Nittany Lions were led by junior JD Hughes (Carlisle, Pa.) who carded an opening round of even-par 71 to share eighth place among individuals. For the final round the Pack shot an even par round of 288 and finished at 3-over for the tournament.

Ogletree wound up in a tie for 16th place at 212 (-4), Norton and Petefish tied for 26th at 211 (-2), and Schniederjans tied for 32nd place at 212 (-1). Chandler Phillips of Texas A&M was the individual medalist with an 11-under-par 205. Corner made a par to secure the berth to the national championship and keep his final season rolling. Over the three rounds, Hillier had success on the par-5 holes scoring a combined 6-under. Top-ranked Oklahoma State won the event with an 8-under total for the week.

Tech finished at 835 (-17), followed by Middle Tennessee State at 836 (-16).

In that tournament, Leed was near the top of the individual leaderboard each round, but was on the outside-looking-in as far as qualifying for nationals as she came to her final hole of the tournament.

Freshman Davis Shore is tied for 23rd with a 1-under par 143 (69-74) on the par 72, 7,239-yard Reserve at Spanos Park layout.

The result of this regional decided which teams would advance to the NCAA Championship.
