On Tuesday, Thomas Markle told TMZ that he wants to walk his daughter Meghan Markle down the aisle Saturday and would risk his life to do so. "This is a historic moment".

She reiterated in the interview that she was very concerned for his health, but said she did not want their father to miss out on the big day.

"On the morning of the wedding, Ms. Ragland will travel with Ms. Markle by auto to Windsor Castle", the statement said.

While George, 4, and Charlotte will have roles in the ceremony at St George's Chapel at Windsor, their younger brother Prince Louis, who was born last month, will not be attending, Kensington Palace has confirmed. While Thomas Sr.is recuperating, his eldest daughter is fuming - and she's pointing fingers at one family member for causing her dad's brush with death!

Ms Markle's goddaughters, Remi Litt, six, and her elder sister, Rylan, seven, will also be joining the procession of bridesmaids.

A palace statement on "this hard situation" did not confirm the TMZ report that Thomas Markle had decided not to attend Saturday's wedding at St. George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

He said his daughter "harbours no ill feelings toward him".

However, when the paparazzi agency who later took the pictures of him in his suit approached him, he apparently thought there would be "no harm" in taking part, thinking that it would help him revamp his image. On Sunday, May 13, The Daily Mail published video that reportedly shows how the photographs were staged.

They later divorced in 1987, but Meghan remembers how her parents "crafted the world around me to make me feel like I wasn't different but special".

Meghan Markle is estranged from her half-sister, who has not been expected to attend the nuptials, and from her half-brother.

She also added the media had "raked him over the coals" and "distorted his image", stating that "he had a moral right to set the record straight and defend himself". She took full responsibility for setting up her father Thomas' fake photo shoot.
