As noted, on last week's episode of Monday Night Raw, former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal was seen interfering in a Money in the Bank qualifying triple threat match between Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, and Roman Reigns.

- Raw GM Kurt Angle bumps into Kevin Owens backstage, Owens complains about his loss to Seth Rollins and he wants a rematch.

The Money In The Bank pay-per-view event takes place on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in Chicago, Illinois at the Allstate Arena and will air on the WWE Network and some traditional pay-per-view outlets. Nia had defeated Alexa Bliss to win her first-ever women's championship at Wrestlemania 34.In the women's match, Alexa Bliss defeated Bayley and Micike James to confirm her participation in the ladder match along with Charlotte Flair and Ember Moon. Above is post-match video of Roode talking to Mike Rome about the win. Braun Strowman, Finn Bálor, The Miz and Rusev all won a spot and now they expect more rivals.

The match begins with Owens kicking Rollins in the midsection before landing a plethora of strikes and stomps, Owens traps Rollins in the corner while landing some more strikes. Roode says the WWE Title is why he's here, why they're all here. Axel and Dallas are now known as "The B Team". They lost the crowd here, worst than during the six-woman match. And Bobby Lashley loves his family, in a totally non creepy way. Strowman sent McIntyre crashing through his Greatest Royal Rumble trophy at one point.

Mahal, who was apparently slated to compete in a triple threat match on the evening for a spot at the upcoming MITB ladder match, eventually had to be pulled out from his scheduled match against Bobby Lashley and Elias due to a brutal spear through a wall by an unhinged Roman Reigns, who was out seeking retribution for last week.

- Kevin Owens is revealed as the replacement for Jinder Mahal in the main event due to Roman Reigns injuring Jinder. Elias performed before the match. Rollins goes to the top rope and he goes for the frog splash, Owens gets his knees up and he rolls up Rollins for a near fall.

WWE Championship - AJ Styles (c) vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: WWE has yet to add a stipulation here, but SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon announced the match as official Monday over Twitter.
