RAGE 2 Gets its First Gameplay Trailer, where Insanity rules the World

Now that we've got our full reveal for Rage 2 from Bethesda, it's time to get excited about a much broader take on a game that many fell in love with. Now that the first gameplay trailer has been released, it appears Rage 2 will be just as technically impressive as the original. Those are the only options, because you certainly don't manage to pull Rage 2 out of your hat unless you know for sure that's coming. A sequel to 2011's Rage is indeed real, and we are bound to see gameplay at Bethesda's E3 press conference next month. Id Software was the sole studio behind the first Rage game, which arrived many years ago at this point. The official trailer offers a look at quite a bit of stuff, but the main focus happens to be on weapons and vehicles.

Apart from its style and visceral, speed-filled FPS action, RAGE 2 seems to have a very Fallout-esque story.

Which platforms will Rage 2 be released on?

We believe this game has HUGE potential, especially with Avalanche Studios co-developing the game with iD Software! Expect more from Bethesda's #BE3 showcase on June 10 at 6.30pm PST/June 11 at 2.30am BST.

The clock hands were pointing at 5:14 and the face of the clock had a blob of pink paint on it. In the decades following an asteroid's devastation, most of the earth has become an unforgiving wildland where bloodthirsty factions vie for control of precious resources.

One image showed a close-up of a someone barring their teeth with 5:14 written in pink on two teeth. The official twitter account of Rage as well as Bethesda, started jokingly referencing this leak.

A shortened version of the teaser trailer appeared as a pre-roll advert on YouTube. There was no one left alive to tell you 'no, ' and in this wild, wide-open place, if you wanted something bad enough, it was yours for the taking.

Without going hands-on with the game (hopefully we get a preview at E3!), it's impossible for me to comment on the actual gameplay mechanics; but, it certainly appears that RAGE 2 will get the adrenaline pumping.
