Marvel Studios' president Kevin Feige confirmed that something is in works for Kamala Khan aka Ms Marvel and internet is rejoicing the news ever since. She is, after all, possibly the most powerful superhero in the Marvel comics, and has faced Thanos and lived to tell the tale on more than one occasion in the comics. DC's Wonder Woman 2 is already fast tracked and Marvel, too, is playing catch with the introduction of the major character like Captain Marvel to the MCU. She went on to make history as the franchise's first Muslim character to land a solo series in February, 2014.

Currently, Marvel's Avengers: Infinity Waris in cinemas and breaking several worldwide box office records.

Ms Marvel is inspired by Captain Marvel and that is why there is a resemblance in the names.

Kevin also previously revealed details of the Captain Marvel movie, which stars Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson. Some have said that Priyanka Chopra would be a good fit for Ms. Marvel since she voices her in the Avengers Academy video game.

Ms Marvel's alter ego, Kamala Khan, is a Pakistani-American teenager who comes from New Jersey. The best we have is Karan Soni playing Dopinder in Deadpool (which is not even MCU).

Created by Sana Amanat, Stephen Wacker, G Willow Wilson, and Adrian Alphona, Kamala became Marvel's first Muslim superhero to get her own comic book and first appeared in Captain Marvel #14 comic in 2013.
