Both these telcos started taking pre-orders of the Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) variant starting May 4, and from today, they have started selling this smartwatch across the country. This essentially means that iOS users can use the Apple Watch as alternative to the iPhone.

The 38mm variant with Aluminium case and Sport Band has been priced at Rs. 39,080, while the 42mm model of the same configuration comes in at Rs. 41,120. The two operators are offering the Apple Watch cellular service at no additional cost. When a customer pair the Series 3 Cellular to your iPhone, you will be prompted to setup a cellular service and guided through a few simple steps. The Apple Watch Series 3 Edition will cost Rs 118,030 for the 32mm variant, while the 42mm size variant is priced at Rs 122,090. It will let users make and receive calls, use data and applications on the data-strong Jio network, even when they are a few miles away from iPhone. And also, Apple Watch will also be able to help diabetic device owners to keep a tab on their health via connected blood sugar monitor.

Jio Everywhere Connect™ allows you to use your Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS +Cellular) to make and receive calls and use data on the Jio network - even when you're not connected via bluetooth or on same Wi-Fi network. So, if you want the device then you have to take Airtel or Reliance Jio connection.

As for launch offers, Airtel customers are entitled to an additional cashback of Rs. 5,000 on payment through ICICI Credit EMI transactions. Airtel's cellular service for Apple Watch Series 3 is not available in UP West, Himachal Pradesh, North East (excluding Assam) and Jammu & Kashmir. On the other hand, Airtel is also allowing its postpaid users with Airtel My Plan or Infinity Plan to opt for the smartwatch without any cost.
