The Miz Has Qualified For This Year's Money In The Bank Match

The Money In The Bank pay-per-view is coming up fast and there were reports that there could be three ladder matches on the show. The Miz announced himself in the match on the Backlash post-show, and this episode of RAW may confirm others into both the men's and women's matches. Wrestling Observer suggests there's talk within WWE of adding a tag-team MITB match. Ultimately, he was unsuccessful despite having a match of the year contending match with Rollins in the opening contest.

According to Ringside News, there may actually be a third ladder match when Money in the Bank takes place at the Allstate Arena.

Let's take a look back at five men who should have won the Money in the Bank briefcase, and how it would have benefitted them.

Daniel Bryan and Rusev will go head to head on SmackDown tonight in one of three qualifiers for Money In The Bank. "We'll announce the tag team Money In The Bank Ladder Match later". From the women's division, Ember Moon, Ruby Riott, and Sasha Banks competed for a place, while Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, and Sami Zayn fought to decide the first contestant in the men's division. He hit a Coup De Grace on Zayn to pin him and joined the behemoth in the MITB 2018 match.

Rusev appeared in pre-taped videos in which he would call out SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon and accuse him of not giving him the opportunity he deserves throughout the month of May, but the WWE made a decision to drop the storyline and give the WWE title to Jinder Mahal instead.
