Microsoft Cortana is compatible with devices running Windows 10, Windows 10 Mobile, Windows Phone 8.1, Invoke smart speaker, Microsoft Band, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and Windows Mixed Reality.

Also on stage at Microsoft Build on Monday, CEO Satya Nadella introduced Amazon senior vice president Tom Taylor, who oversees Alexa. Amazon Alexa was asked what it thinks about Cortana to which it replies, "I like Cortana".

Playing with Alexa for May 4, you may find Alexa's acting abilities leave something to be desired, and she lacks the believability that Lucas, Kershner, Marquand, Abrams, Johnson, and Edwards have all achieved, and what likely Howard will, too, in the upcoming film "Solo".

Microsoft unveiled the "Your Phone" app for Windows 10 which is created to mirror a phone straight to a desktop PC while it will also let Windows 10 users access texts, notifications, photos.

The assistant integration is the fruit of a partnership that began a year ago, when the two companies announced the intent to make their two assistants compatible.

Perhaps, though, what Microsoft really wants is to benefit from Alexa's momentum. It is a well-planned integration where the users can have the best of both worlds.

The new option was noticed by a user on Reddit over the weekend. This announcement, like the others, was made during Microsoft Build on the 7th of May, 2018. From there, you're able to use Alexa to send text messages, create shopping lists, control smart home systems, and more. It sounds like the Kinect for Azure kit may not be available until 2019. The company says that its platform "can input fully articulated hand tracking as well as high-fidelity spatial mapping" for all new precision solutions.

Microsoft execs also talked up the coming Project Kinect for Azure developer kit. Both playlists feature music from all the Star Wars movies, and you can get them playing by simply asking Alexa to play them.
