Gidley began her career as a model in New York City, later segueing to acting.

Pamela Gidley, who was best known for playing Teresa Banks in "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me", died earlier in the month.

The news of her passing was confirmed by the Associated Press, which reports that her death was announced in an obituary on Sunday. No details regarding the cause of death were released, CBS News reported.

She grew up in Salem, N.H. and attended St. Joseph's Elementary School and Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen, Mass.

"He offered me that role, and so there was a conflict of interest", she said. She was 52 years old. She graduated from Presentation of Mary Academy High School in MA in 1983 and moved to NY to study at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NY before later moving to Los Angeles. But her most famous portrayal came in 1992, courtesy of "Twin Peaks" director David Lynch. "She was very good in FWWM - I'm so glad the Missing Pieces helped flesh out more about her character and gave people one more chance to see Pamela's talent", one fan wrote on Twitter.

"I was literally going from the Bahamas to Seattle, from Seattle to the Bahamas, nearly every other 10 days.That to me was like, 'Wow, you want me that bad?' Holy Christ".

Both Brolin and Fenn paid tribute to the late star on Instagram, with Brolin recalling his "amazing and innocent memories" with Gidley. "I can't imagine anyone wanted me that bad".

She also had roles in "Cherry 2000", "Angel Street", "CSI", "The Little Vampire" and "The Pretender", but "Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me" was Gidley's breakout role.
