'We are strong' - McEntire brings ACM Awards back to Vegas

Carrie Underwood is ready for her comeback!

On April 4, Carrie shared the very first semi-full photo of her face since her accident on social media.

"He's the one artist who gives you chills when you're listening to him perform", she said.

Just because the ceremony is not going to tackle sexual harassment or women's equality, that doesn't mean it isn't going to address other issues, such as the shooting in Las Vegas previous year, where a gunman opened fire on a group of concertgoers at the Route 91 Harvest music festival, killing 58 people. I know it's been a big story, but I think, I'm sure she'll be relieved to finally move on from all that stuff too. She also called it a silver liner to this autumn outside her Nashville house in November that compelled her to get nearly fifty stitches.

The 2018 ACM Awards air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 15. When the injury first occurred, she wrote on Instagram that, "In addition to breaking my wrist, I somehow managed to injure my face as well". She sustained a broken wrist and multiple cuts and bruises, requiring between 40 and 50 stitches.

While Underwood took to lying low in the months since as she recovered, she recently made her way back into the spotlight.

"That'll be the first time that some of those artists are back in Vegas just right down the street from where the shooting happened, so it's going to be pretty emotional for some of those people like Jason Aldean", she said.

It seems like McEntire would be in favor to win this category because she laid the groundwork for country music. "I undoubtedly really feel extra like myself than I've shortly". "Then we have to get into our show - not leave it behind, but focus on what's ahead of us", according to Billboard.

Dierks Bentley revealed in February that he and Luke Bryan would not be returning as hosts of the 2018 ACMs, likely because of Bryan's new gig as an American Idol judge.

The photo showed three-year-old Isaiah's mom dressed casually while singing her heart out and sitting on a stool.

Jason Aldean is set to perform his song "You Make It Easy" tonight and he is also a nominee. Additional performers include Kelsea Ballerini, Kenny Chesney, and Miranda Lambert.
