Rowley was spotted by the state troopers in Rhode Island, which led them on a chase back to CT.

That's where he allegedly told police about his plan to impress Swift.

Rowley has been charged with robbing a bank in Ansonia, Connecticut on April 4th.

The robber told police that he had driven to Taylor Swift's vacation home and that he threw the money over the fence.

Police also said that it seemed he wanted to impress Taylor to propose to her. Taylor Swift hasn't responded to the fan's extreme display of affection but we're assuming she thinks he's trouble.

Police say 26-year-old Bruce Rowley went up to a teller at a CT bank and demanded $1,600, but a red dye pack was hidden inside the bag he was given. "He began to talk all about it in the cruiser", Lynch said.

According to cops, Rowley was booked for robbery in the second degree and larceny in the fourth degree. Rowley's arrest came after two people identified him as the person who robbed the Webster Bank at 200 Division Street in Ansonia on April 4, 2018.

Rhode Island State Police found Rowley driving the Jeep south on Interstate 95 and attempted to stop the auto.

Rowley was arraigned Friday in Superior Court in Derby.

When talking to the police, the man said he had a "crush" on the singer and that he had driven to her vacation home to throw money over the fence. The dye pack exploded in the parking lot just like it did in another bank robbery.
