McGregor bailed after being charged with assault by NYPD

McGregor has been charged with two felony charges for criminal mischief and 10 misdemeanors.

McGregor, no stranger to WWE-type promotion skills, was fined in Nevada for throwing filled energy drink cans at 2016 opponent Nate Diaz at a news conference, and his sharp wit and crass talk helped make his novelty boxing loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. past year the second-most lucrative combat sporting event of all time. A call to his bail bondsman, Ira Judelson, about McGregor's whereabouts was not answered Saturday. Video from TMZ Sports shows someone picking up a two-wheeled dolly and throwing it into a bus window, smashing the glass.

Security arrived early to the Barclays Center before the fight. The person was treated at a hospital and released.

"So that's also something they're going to take into consideration because there is some level of disrespect for him doing what he did and (it was) risky on top of everything", she said. His bail was set at $25,000.

CNN could not immediately reach representatives for McGregor or Cowley for comment.

McGregor answered, "Yes, your honor" when the judge asked Friday whether he understood orders to stay away from the alleged victims in the case. "These guys got to the buses and started to attack the buses". Fighter Max Holloway tweeted Friday that he'd been forced to withdraw from his top-billed match against Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title, which UFC is stripping from McGregor because of his long absence from UFC fights. The video shows his arrival inside the arena and subsequent actions that led to "Notorious" turning himself in to authorities. Following that decision, McGregor took to Twitter in an expletive laden rant.

"It was scary, scary for everybody", witness and UFC fighter Felice Herring said.

Prior to Thursday, White had said McGregor would "100 percent" return to UFC in 2018. "He looks forward to getting back to fighting as soon as possible". And now we have in-bus footage of McGregor's attack.

According to White, Lobov, a longtime teammate of McGregor, was part of the group that attacked the bus.

The incident caused several cuts to the face of UFC fighter Michael Chiesa, who had been scheduled to fight Anthony Pettis at UFC 223 on Saturday.

"What the f-", Chiesa said.

Two other fights were also canceled because of the incident.

"The organisation deems today's disruption completely unacceptable and is now working on the consequences that will follow", the UFC said. McGregor attacks people with a railing.

The fight that included Lobov was scratched due to Lobov's involvement with the barrage.
