Bills trade QB Tyrod Taylor to Cleveland

Both teams could be better off with Randall in Cleveland, and his value to the Browns shouldn't be compared strictly on production, for he had plenty of opportunities in Green Bay and rarely showed consistent ability to capitalize upon those. So now their No. 4 pick could even be used to solidify their defense, selecting either one of the top defensive prospects like Bradley Chubb, Minkah Fitzpatrick, or Derwin James-which might be the best move for the next three or four seasons.

The Browns were loaded with draft picks after Sashi Brown stockpiled them the past few seasons before being pushed out the door. The acquisitions of quarterback Tyrod Taylor, wide receiver Jarvis Landry and cornerback Damarious Randall were met with approval by Thomas. The Browns will send a fourth-round selection this year as well as a seventh-round pick in 2019. The Browns are expected to attempt to work out a long-term deal with Landry.

With three stunning trades on the eve of free agency, Cleveland landed a proven starting quarterback, a game-breaking, three-time Pro Bowl wide receiver and a shut-down cornerback. His relationship with Jackson is well-documented, and Pryor has expressed interest, via social media, in returning to Cleveland, where the former quarterback posted 1,007 receiving yards in 2016 before ankle and foot issues derailed his 2017 season in Washington.

Bell recorded over 1,200 rushing yards in three of the last four season in Haley's offense, and the only season he didn't was in 2015 when he only played six games.

The Browns ended their Friday with a trade with the Green Bay Packers.

The Browns won't eliminate the fumes of failure until they become a consistent victor, and Dorsey has only scratched the surface of this rebuilding project. Some teams also cautioned they were hearing the Browns wanted to take a quarterback first, and move into the third spot, and take North Carolina State defensive end Bradley Chubb. Put Taylor, Landry and Josh Gordon together (assuming Gordon can stay on the field) and you'd have a Voltron-like offensive monster. While Baltimore likes what they see from Moore and White as young players, there's nothing really there yet that you can hang your hat on.

That said, crazier things have happened during the draft, especially with the Browns. The Browns are thought to be considering drafting a quarterback with one of their first-round picks. "He took the Bills to the freaking playoffs this year for the first time in what, [17] years or something insane". It just probably won't be McCarron or any other quarterback.

It has been so long since the Browns had a winning season.
