This is why a woman in China climbed inside X-ray machine

A woman, train commuter at the Dongguan railway station, in China's Guangdong Province, jumped into an X-Ray machine at a train station, with her heels in order to keep a keen eye on her handbag.

When you're about to go on any trip, one of the biggest ball-aches is getting through security.

Eerie X-ray images of a Chinese woman crawling through a luggage scanner at a railway station have become the latest smash hit on a video sharing website.

It's still not known why the woman climbed into the X-ray machine.

The woman rode through the security screening machine on Sunday in the southern city of Dongguan because she wanted to protect her money, the People's Daily's Facebook post and other media reports said.

It is not clear what the woman was carrying in her handbag.

Staff were reportedly so stunned they didn't stop her when she collected her bags and bolted to get her train.

"Do not [put] yourself into the security inspection machine", passengers were told. The radiation given off by the scanners can be harmful.

Security guards in the Philippines were also shocked when they saw a baby packed into a woman's suitcase as she was going through Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila.

Thankfully the baby was okay and was asleep during the whole ordeal.

A video shared online showed the woman placing her luggage on the conveyor belt of the machine, before walking through the security scanner with a small handbag.

Would you ever climb into an X-ray machine for your precious belongings?
