Chelsea fans not exactly thrilled with Alvaro Morata's Real Madrid comment

Chelsea FC will be without the injured Morata when the Blues take on West Bromwich Albion in front of their home fans at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.

Conte's side are now struggling for results as well - they've lost their last two league games 3-0 and 4-1 - so fans are hoping Morata isn't out for too much longer.

And his response will no doubt anger Chelsea fans.

'You ask me how long he is out, maybe he needs one day, one month, or is out for the season, I don't know.

When providing an update on Morata's injury, Conte admitted that he is unsure when the Spanish forward will be able to fully return to his best.

The former Real Madrid ace has missed Chelsea's last five games, but appeared in decent shape in the video shared by Campello on Sunday. I am a bit anxious as we know the importance of the player.

I have to respect Chelsea who have made a great effort for me.

Add Alvaro Morata's injury/absence to the ever-growing list of concerns which also happens to include Antonio Conte getting potentially fired, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois's future, Tiemoue Bakayoko struggling to cope with the Premier League, among others and things are going from bad to worse to just downright terrible for the reigning Champions. I don't know how long he will be out.

He is very happy in London. "We are struggling a lot to find a solution to solve the pain in his back", said Conte as quoted on The Mirror. I'm a bit anxious. Some lashed him on the premise that he cost the club a whopping £70 million to sign from Real Madrid during the last summer. But Madrid is always Madrid'.

He also said that people were more focused on his team's results than the situation they were facing and that Morata is a very important player for him.
