A lot of Palestinian diplomats have received training in India and hundreds of Palestinians have availed scholarships to study at Indian institutions as part of New Delhi's effort towards capacity building in Palestine. Both sides agreed to deepen their engagement in several areas including health, IT, tourism, youth affairs, sports, agriculture.

He will proceed to the venue of the World Government Summit where he will deliver a keynote address.

"We believe in the importance of our relationship with the brotherly Indian State, the support of India to the Palestinian people, and the relationship we possess with the Indian people, will not be effected by India s relations with any other State", he emphasised. He also said that the UAE has done a lot in meeting India's foreign direct investment (FDI) requirements. Two Deputy Prime Ministers of Oman, Sayyed Fahad and Sayyed Asad, will also also call on Modi.

Modi will straightaway head for a large community event at a stadium in the Omani capital.
