Kensington Palace announced that Charlotte would be attending the nursery in late 2017 with the tweet: 'Their Royal Highnesses have also announced this morning that Princess Charlotte will attend the Willcocks Nursery School in London from January 2018'.

We can't wait to see how Princess Charlotte continues takes after Her Majesty as she grows up.

Princess Charlotte, the daughter of Britain's Prince William and wife Kate, began her first day at nursery school near the couple's London home, Kensington Palace, on Monday.

Princess Charlotte is going to nursery school!

The two-year-old looked adorable in a red coat and scarf as she posed on steps outside Kensington Palace before travelling to the nearby school.

He previously attended a Montessori nursery school in Norfolk, which is close to Anmer Hall.

The fourth-in-line to the British throne will reportedly be in a class of 32 children taught by an all-female staff at the "traditional" school.

He is now a pupil at Thomas's Battersea and started there in September 2017.

Prince George started school in September previous year. By then, she's expected to have a new younger sibling - the Duchess is expecting her third child in April.

The school is just over a ten minute walk from Prince William and Kate's home at Kensington Palace. The photo has been used on the Cambridges' Christmas card.
