Brad Pitt just bid a ridiculous amount of money to watch Game of Thrones with the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke.

It's no surprise that nearly everyone on the planet is obsessed with Game of Thrones, but that doesn't mean it's not still interesting to discover just how into it some of our favourite celebrities are, and how far they are willing to go to get up close and personal with the cast.

Meanwhile, Pitt bid $80,000 to watch an episode of "GOT" with Clarke. Amazon's Jeff Bezos, Lena Dunham, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Segel, Connie Britton, Patricia Arquette, Mark Burnett, Roma Downey and Leonardo DiCaprio, who was honored for his work fighting climate change, were also at the event.

The auction to watch the episode with Clarke started at $20,000, but the race quickly escalated.

During the night's charity auction, the auctioneer announced the opportunity to watch an episode of Game of Thrones with Clarke, who plays the role of one of the show's main characters, Daenerys Targaryen.

Brad had initially bid $80,000 before upping his offer to $90,000. When Harington came back into the room, the actor offered to also sit in on the episode viewing. The 54-year-old actor raised his final bid to USD120,000 (RM478,500)!

In the end, Pitt was outbid by a gala-goer who ended the auction at $160,000.

Clarke also picked up a prize at the auction after engaging in a little bidding war with DiCaprio over the same Josh Smith painting.
