This beta will be largely the same as the last ones, but features one new quest - a chance to fight the Elder Dragon, Nergigante - which was previously available at PlayStation Experience.

Capcom has released another trailer ahead of Monster Hunter: World's launch on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on January 26, 2018. Also don't miss out on the Open Beta coming 22nd January! It will include the monsters from the previous beta: Great Jagras, Anjanath and Barroth. They plan on releasing the first DLC in the Spring of 2018 (not long after the game's launch), and will have plenty more content updates as the year progresses - all for free.

The press release also details the Dodogama, which is a wyvern that eats rocks and has saliva that can cause the rocks to become explosive. Players will be able to put their hunting skills to the test against this brute.

Capcom is opening up Monster Hunter: World for one final beta phase. "Deviljho must feed constantly and will devour anything in its way, even feeding on the largest of monsters with its massive jowls", Capcom said.
