Woman who disappeared after Tinder date is found dead: family

Jeff Bliemeister, the Chief of Police at the Lincoln Police Department said that the discovery was primarily made thanks to digital analyses and work on the ground from law enforcement agencies.

The post included a link to an Antelope County News, article which read: "In a tragic ending to the search for Sydney Loofe, her parents announced Monday night that the Neligh native's body has been recovered".

A posting on the family's official Facebook page, Finding Sydney Loofe, states, "It's with heavy hearts that we share this most recent update with you all". The last Snapchat Sydney Loofe sent to a friend before going on a Tinder date.

"We do believe that there is evidence of foul play" involved in the woman's death, Bliemeister said, but he wouldn't provide any specifics. It was also where one of two persons of interest has an apartment. Boswell said the two met on Tinder and went on two dates together.

Boswell and Trail live in Wilber, which is where Loofe was last seen and where investigators traced her cellphone's final communication with a nearby tower, according to the Omaha World-Herald.

Loofe vanished November 15 after going out with a 23-year-old woman named Bailey Boswell. "I went to take her home, and she asked me to drop her off at her friend's house, so I did so", Boswell said.

The two posted a weird video on the Finding Sydney Loofe Facebook page last week claiming they tried to reach out to the police, but never heard back.

Trail and Boswell posted several videos on social media addressing their possible involvement in the investigation. The pair claimed their innocence in Loofe's disappearance, saying they were getting wronged and shamed by authorities.

Aubrey Trail continues to talk with officers about the case, but Bliemeister could not discuss Bailey Boswell's cooperation.

After their arrests, the F.B.I. said it was still interviewing them in Loofe's disappearance, and there was no immediate word if they were cooperating. She and her roommate, 51-year-old Aubrey Trail, are being considered "persons of interest" in Loofe's death.
