The movie tie-in klaxon has gone off, alerting us to a Star Wars: The Last Jedi inspired OnePlus 5T, just in time for the film's December 15 theatrical debut.

At the moment, OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition appears to be exclusive to the Indian market. The report further said the device will be announced on December 16 in India at an event in Mumbai. Samsung already did it with the Galaxy S8 and Google recently followed suit with a "Stormtrooper" variant of the Pixel 2, but the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition is definitely stealing the show. For example, do you remember the OnePlus 3T Colette Edition which was made available only in France? OnePlus 5T showcased the new Limited Edition on Saturday at the Comic-Con event in Bengaluru. The lock button wears a red finish which contrasts against the white back. Earlier it was predicted that the Star Wars edition would be on sale near about the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi which is scheduled for December.

It will carry a Star Wars logo at the bottom of the back panel. OnePlus will begin selling tickets to the event on December 7 for Rs.999 (~$16) via Paytm.

There are a few noticeable changes, including a new paint job for the alert slider (which now looks Pierce red). The phone will ship with default Star Wars themes, ringtones, and effects. The phone will be available exclusively in India to celebrate OnePlus' anniversary in India. It sports 6.1-inch Full Optic Amoled display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. However, the company would keep the same price tag of the original OnePlus 5T smartphone. We've reached out to OnePlus for more details on which version it'll come in (6GB of RAM + 64GB of storage, 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage, or both?) and how much it'll cost. The front camera is of 16MP. Furthermore, the 3300mAh battery supports fast charging due to the company's Dash Charge technology.
