The Year's Final Free Games for PS Plus Subscribers Have Been Announced

Though Darksiders 2 was originally an Xbox 360 and PS3 game, the Deathinitive Edition updates the visuals and packages in all the DLC for modern consoles.

The games for subscribers are Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition and Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of Legendary Legends - just the games you want to ring 2017 in, right? Though it might seem like November passed by in a blur, there is one upside to the end of the month getting here quickly: it's nearly time for a fresh batch of PlayStation Plus games.

As usual, we have games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita and for a couple of months now we also see a VR game always implemented in those free games. Reminiscent of Super Smash Bros in style, Showdown of Legendary Legends is a four-player brawler that features characters from the Kung Fu Panda series.

For PlayStation 3 owners, they can grab a copy of Xblaze Lost: Memories and the Syberia Collection. Finally, the PlayStation Vita games this month includes Forma.8 (which will also serve on PS4 thanks to cross-buy) and Wanted Corp.

What Else Is Waiting For PlayStation Plus Subscribers In December?

If you own a PlayStation VR, then you will be able to play Until Dawn: Rush of Blood once again. The beta will have players explore the Ancient Forest to hunt for Great Jagras and an Anjanath and the Wildspire Waste in search of a Barroth. You will be able to access them for free, as long as your PlayStation Plus subscription is active. The package includes 31 skins, 20 gods, voice packs, and the Khepri Announcer pack for the free-to-play MOBA, and it will stay free from December 12 to January 9.
