Coach Tyronn Lue faced several questions about LeBron James's minutes, as the star forward played 27 minutes - only the 16th time in his long career he has played that few minutes in a game.

James and the Cavs, winners of four straight games and six of their last eight, seem to be moving in the right direction. He was 39. He played 37 minutes a night.

"Yeah, I hear about that all the time", Lue said. It's not a huge issue. Karl Malone was 37, played 38 minutes a night, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Kobe [Bryant]. But at the end of the day, when we can get a win like this, everybody benefits from it. The last time a player led the league in total minutes and won a championship in the same season was Norm Nixon back in 1979-80 with the Los Angeles Lakers. "Not just me. Everybody".

Quin said he admires James' physicality on the basketball court, but cautioned, "I just think it's different when you're running around with shoulder pads on and you got guys, he's tall so you've got guys hitting you in your knees and your legs". James has said on multiple occasions they have to improve upon it if they want to compete with Golden State in a potential rematch.

None of the other top 10 players in minutes per game are older than 30, and only three players in their 30s are averaging more than 35 MPG this season, per Basketball Reference.

In fact, no Cavalier played more than 28 minutes, as the team led by 39 points entering the fourth quarter.

This isn't likely a clash between Lue and James over workload, but rather a plea to reporters to stop asking him about it. Still, with two more minutes played, James will move past Shaquille O'Neal for 24th on the all-time minutes played list in the regular season. Jordan played 48,485 in both the regular season and playoffs over 15 seasons, but he retired twice before he even joined the Wizards.
