The Crimes Of Grindelwald is the second movie in the Fantastic Beasts franchise.

The Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them sequel officially has a title.

Depp's return to the film series has attracted criticism from some fans who said he shouldn't have been cast again after being accused of assaulting his ex-wife Amber Heard a year ago.

In this film, the Hogwarts headmaster, portrayed by Jude Law, tries to track down Grindelwald after the wizard escapes custody. But Dumbledore will need help from the wizard who had thwarted Grindelwald once before, his former student Newt Scamander.

Ezra Miller, 25, is back as Credence, Zoe Kravitz, 28, will take on the role of Leta Lestrange and Callum Turner, 27, will play Newt's brother Theseus Scamander.

Many fans have even asked the "Harry Potter" scribe J. K. Rowling to comment, or weigh in on a recast.

Rowling also revealed that when he was young, Dumbledore was smitten with rival Gellert Grindelwald - now played in the Fantastic Beasts films by Johnny Depp.

Calling it "The Crimes of Grindelwald" many fans were excited for the next installment of the "Harry Potter" adjacent series that has been confirmed for a total of five films.

The sequel, "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald", also has a special release date - November 16, 2018. The first movie follows Scamander and the magical creatures he collected and documented.

The adventures are set in the same universe that Rowling has created and will have numerous direct links to the world the author first created in her books and which was shown on screen in the movies starring Daniel Radcliffe as the bespectacled magical lad.
