Last month she was set to present him with an award at a dinner for the Jewish National Fund however backed out at the last moment. Citing a "Hollywood source", Page Six said that Gadot doesn't want the film "to benefit a man accused of sexual misconduct".

"She's tough and stands by her principles", the source said.

The original Wonder Woman flick was a smashing success at it was released in June of this year with a worldwide gross of almost $822 million ($412 million domestically).

RatPac-Dune Entertainment and Warner Bros. appear to be obligated to their current co-financing agreement through spring of 2018, according to that report. She also knows that Warner Bros. has to side with her on this issue as it develops. A Warner Bros. insider explained, "Brett made a lot of money from the success of 'Wonder Woman, ' thanks to his company having helped finance the first movie".

According to Page Six, Gadot is refusing to sign on for another Wonder Woman solo film unless Ratner and his company are completely cut out of the franchise financially.

Prolific producer and director Ratner was of course recently accused of sexual harassment and/or misconduct by multiple women, and occupies a spot on the seemingly endless list of powerful Hollywood figures to be accused of such abhorrent behavior since the allegations against Harvey Weinstein served to open the floodgates. She was 18 at the time.

Audiences responded so well to her character that Gadot's Amazon warrior is now at the forefront of the marketing for Justice League, which purports to ditch the more somber tone of previous movies in the series like Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman. Through his attorney Martin Singer, Ratner has denied all of the women's allegations. Originally scheduled for a December 13, 2019 release, Warner Bros. has now moved that release date up to November 1, 2019 [replacing another untitled DC Comics movie they had scheduled for that date]. "I stand by all the courageous women confronting their fears and speaking out".
