Devonta Freeman to miss Week 11 game vs. Seahawks after second concussion

Freeman exited in the first quarter of the Falcons' 27-7 victory over the Dallas Cowboys after taking a hit from linebacker Anthony Hitchens.

The Atlanta Falcons could go into next week's Monday Night Football matchup against the Seattle Seahawks without star running back, Devonta Freeman.

Clayborn is making a base salary of $3.75 million this season, but according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, his contract includes a performance incentive: an additional $750,000 for recording at least eight sacks in a season.

Freeman missed two preseason games after suffering a concussion in a practice in August. Overall this season, Freeman has rushed for 515 yards and five touchdowns while also catching 19 passes for 137 yards. It's worth mentioning that Freeman had to recover from a concussion in August. Based exclusively on that, without knowing just how severe this concussion is by comparison, missing Week 12 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Nov. 26) is firmly in play for Freeman. Third-year running back Tevin Coleman is likely to take on a heavier load if Freeman is unable to go on Monday. With how banged up he has been, he probably needs a break anyway.
