Lonzo Ball tallies 1st career triple-double

Rookie point guard Lonzo Ball Saturday became the youngest player in National Basketball Association history to record a triple-double during the Los Angeles Lakers' 98-90 away loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. More importantly, Ball's overall game has garnered the respect of opponents throughout the league. Ball also tallied three blocked shots and three steals. Although the Lakers did not walk away with the win, Lonzo impressively reeled in a triple-double, becoming the youngest player to do so, beating out Lebron James who previously held the title. Reigning rookie of the year, Malcolm Brogdon would add on 16 points off the bench.

Despite going on to lose the game, Ball finished with the first triple-double of his career, and likely not his last.

"My dad did call me but didn't leave me much information", Lonzo Ball said. It's not going to be scoring every night, but I'm trying to improve that.

Ball is determined to follow his own judgment despite the highs and lows of his rookie season. The Lakers went 0-3 during their three-game road trip of the East, courtesy losses against the Boston Celtics, Washington Wizards and the Milwaukee Bucks.
