Flipkart Launches its Billion Capture+ Smartphone, to be available from November 15

Indian e-commerce giant, Flipkart has finally unveiled its first smartphone under the newly announced "Billion" brand. The Flipkart Billion Capture+ rocks dual cameras at the back and the setup is quite identical to the one present on the likes of Honor 8, Tenor G, etc.

The Billion Capture+ will be available in two configurations - 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, which is priced at Rs 10,999 and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM priced at Rs 12,999. It will have a 5.5-inch full HD display with 401 PPI and 2.5D Dragontrail glass on top for extra protection. Both variants of the Flipkart's Billion Capture+ phone come in two colours - Mystic Black and Desert Gold. The company will be launching their first smartphone on November 15, one day before OnePlus reveals its own OnePlus 5T. The key highlight of the smartphone - as the name suggests - is its camera setup. The power-efficient SoC is the same as has been previously used by other smartphone manufacturers such as Xiaomi to make the Redmi Note 4 and even the Mi A1 highly-popular phones. It has dual 13MP rear camera with a dual-LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The Billion Capture Plus ships with Nougat and comes with the promise of an Oreo update. Priced at Rs 10,999, the Billion Capture+ will be available from November 15th on Flipkart. The phone is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, which is coupled with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. The smartphone is capable of capturing shots in super night mode - in other words, it is capable of clicking clear pictures in a low-light situation.

Upon its launch, the device will be available in two colours - Mystic Black and Desert Gold - and sports metal as the core element for its design that will help the phone fit right into the sea of metal body phones now available in the market. Users can also expand the inbuilt storage up to 128GB using a microSD card.

We can also spot the circular fingerprint sensor on the rear.

On the battery front, the smartphone by Flipkart is backed by a 3500mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 2 days of life.

To offer some level of comfort to potential buyers, Flipkart is guaranteeing a reliable after-sales service support with 130 service centres across 125 cities and towns in India. With a premium build, the phone comes with dual cameras, a big 3,500mAh battery and a very competitive price, offering great value for money. "There's a limited bandwidth that we have", said co-founder Sachin Bansal.
