Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s seen with iPhone X-like notch is fake

Xaiomi might have previously initiated working on its third - generation Mi MIX edge-to-edge display smartphone. From the looks of it, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer might have been inspired by the notch of the iPhone X (Amazon, $1234.55) a bit too much.

Furthermore, the MIUI theme store has plenty of themes that allow users to give their Xiaomi phones an iPhone X-like look.

The images of MI MIX 2 has been leaked by Weibo and GSMArena made it viral on the Internet.

The leaked pictures additionally convey that the following Mi MIX cell phone will hold the feature of the series which is bezel-less cell phone.

With the cutout at the top the selfie camera on the Mix Mix 2 moves from an unconventional bottom position to the more appropriate top.

From the leaked images, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s looks to be sporting the same, clean bezel-less design as the Mi MIX 2 but it also looks like the device in the images is going to be a lot larger than the iPhone X, though carrying almost the same design language. And if the images are genuine, the company may not launch a new version of the Mi Mix 2 so early.

Xiaomi sees the iPhone X and its positive reception from consumers, and now an upgraded Mi Mix 2s could relocate the front-facing camera to a more traditional spot.

As per the reports, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2s which can be expected to be an upgrade of some sort to the current Mi MIX 2 smartphone that was launched in India last month for Rs 35,999.
