It great to see that one of the biggest games of the year will support true 4K graphics and HDR on the freshly released Xbox One X. The fact that the PS4 Pro version of the game will only support adaptive 4K resolution also proves that Microsoft's new console can really deliver the best console versions of multiplatform games. The YouTube channel NX Gamer recently did some tests on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and found that if you pop in a disc version of the game without updating it, the Xbox One X can run the game at 60 FPS. Subsequent patches locked the frame rate at 30fps.

Unfortunately, I own the digital version of the game, which automatically downloads patches when installed, so my copy of The Witcher 3 maintains its locked 30 frames per second on the Xbox One X.

Just 24 hours after the Xbox One X released, Gamestop has almost completely sold all of the Xbox One X's they had in stock.

"The last thing is that I do encourage the external hard drive as something we've supported from the get-go", he continued. Apparently, that version of the game can run up to 60fps on the Microsoft's new console revision.

Rare's next game is Sea of Thieves, a cooperative and competitive game about being a pirate, for the Xbox One and PC.

Walmart will have 500 GB Xbox One S consoles for $189 (originally $229), plus Xbox One controllers for $39 each (originally $59) and three-month subscriptions of Xbox Live for $12.50 (originally $24.96).

The end result are games that run smoother, load faster and look better than ever before.
