Bentley Reveals New Continental GT3

Brian gush, Director of Bentley Motorsport, while interacting with journalists said that the new Bentley Continental GT3 is significantly different from the model of the current generation, although in terms of design, the vehicle received minimal changes. The mostly aluminum structure puts its race weight at less than 2,900 pounds. It puts out more than 405kW, though parity rules mean that will probably fluctuate.

The New Continental GT3 Development of the new vehicle has been led by the engineers of Bentley Motorsport's in-house team based in Crewe, together with designers and technicians at Bentley's motorsport technical partner, M-Sport.

Revealed a couple of months ago, the all-new Bentley Continental has already been given a GT3 racing version. The second-generation Continental GT3 comes off the back of four successful years with the first-gen auto, and will continue the brand's competitive efforts in endurance racing.

"The new vehicle leaves no area or system untouched in the search for even better performance, and the early test results are promising". The racer is called the Continental GT3 and it is based on the new Continental GT road vehicle.

Now, in line with its roadgoing partner, the Bentley racing vehicle has been overhauled for 2018.

The road-going Continental GT is using a biturbo W12 6.0-liter engine packing 626 horsepower, but the sporty brother has opted for an engine swap in the form of an evolution of the 4.0-liter V8 now packing a new dry sump, intake, and exhaust. This is the second-generation of the Continental GT3, with the previous iteration of the rather large racecar having scored 120 podiums and 45 wins in 528 races entered. Unrestricted power is in excess of 550 bhp.

Bentley has rolled out its new racing vehicle and it is a beauty of a auto.

Bentley has taken the wraps off the new GT3 racing auto version of its Continental GT.

The team is yet to announce its 2018 driver lineup.
