Sydney real estate agent wrestles shark out of pool

If you're Melissa Hatheier, real estate agent and deadset Aussie legend, you calmly wrestle that shark from the pool and fling it back into the ocean, apparently, all without seeming to break a sweat.

Her video of casually transferring a shark from a pool back into the ocean has left people thoroughly impressed.

Her daughter Shannon captured video of the rescue, and the footage has made Hatheier a hero, as well as a viral sensation.

Port Jackson Sharks are typical to southern Australian waters and usually live in rocky environments near the bottom of the ocean.

"It was kind of like a toddler, and [there was] not a problem throwing him over", Ms Hatheier told the BBC.

"I was warned that there was a shark".

"I just sort of dived on him, put my knee on his fin and grabbed him around the neck and thought, sweet, he won't be able to get me".

'She identified the shark first then she obviously knew to turn it over and it's harmless. Her video, since being posted on October 10, has collected over 1.3 lakh views, some 1,200 reactions and more than 1,000 shares.

'This is hands down the most Australian thing I have ever seen, holy mackerel, ' wrote another.

The real estate agency posted the clip to its Facebook page. This particular incident happened at Oak Park Rock Pool in Cronulla though, if you're looking to avoid it.
