If you didn't get enough rebel-on-galactic action during EA's Star Wars Battlefront II beta this past weekend, you're in luck.

This beta test is probably a fair representation of how the shooting and some of the special abilities work, but players are also using it to understand the multiplayer mode's progression system.

Whereas in the original game players unlocked weapons and cards by completing various tasks, Battlefront 2 dishes these items out through crates.

To download the beta, all you need to do is head over to the PlayStation Store and search for Battlefront II beta.

Now, you've got until Wednesday, Oct. 11 to jump in and join the fun. Heroes in the beta include Boba Fett, Darth Maul, and much more. In galactic assault players from all Star Wars Eras fight. Criterion, with a deep history of creating some of gaming's fastest and intuitive vehicles, has built space combat from the ground up with refined handling, weapons, and customization options.

Even as the debate on Middle-earth: Shadow of War's loot system rages, the next flashpoint in the ongoing loot box narrative looms over the horizon: Star Wars Battlefront 2.

In other Star Wars news, the newest trailer for The Last Jedi is set to air tonight during Monday Night Football.

In addition to the aforementioned skills of expertise, Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans can also customize Darth Vader's abilities with Star Cards in order to better suit their favorite styles in which to play.

Star Wars Battlefront II will be available worldwide on November 17th, 2017 on PS4, Xbox One, and on PC (Origin).
